Not registered on network

Hi, I am getting the following error message on my Samsung and can't make or receive calls:

"Not registered on network"

Does anyone know if the Virgin network is down?

That's not good Sandra.

 

Generally you'd only see this message if you had not yet activated your SIM card however if you've been able to use the service up til now we'll need to check your area to confirm there's no issues.

 

If you have Facebook you can go to our Virgin Mobile page and send us a private message with the details and we'll follow up from there.

I have the same problem.

I have tried ringing up but to no avail.

Can you help please ?

If you're still having problems with the service send us a private message via our Virgin Mobile Aus Facebook page and include what area you're in and we'll look into it for you.

I have just had the same problem happen to my phone yesterday and today can't make any calls or texts! I have the new Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile phone...can I get any help please?

That's not good Blacklotus :smileysad:

If you're still having issues with the service can you please try turning the phone off/on and also doing a manual network selection.
If neither of these work then shoot us your info via our form and we'll be in touch to help you out.

Hi,

I have been having the same issue yesterday and today, getting the message Not registered on network at times. I have also been getting SIM card removed sometimes. When I restart the phone it's all working OK. But I have been restarting it around 10 times during the day, yesterday and today. Can't continue doing this!! All people are calling and I am not receiving their calls.

I have a galaxy S4 for about a year now, never had the issue until yesterday.

Any suggestions?

It's possible the SIM or phone is playing up which is causing this to happen.

Have you tried restarting your phone to see if it reconnects?

Can you also let me know what location you're experiencing these issues in so I can check for problems reported in the area?
