I have to increase my monthly data take, from the $40/12Gb (+3Gb) to your $60/mth, mth-by-mth plan, while staying on the same arrangement - month-by-month.

So let me be clearer about this. You'd like to go from 40/mth (month to month) which gives you 12GB (which plan is this??) And you want to move to a 60/mth (but still month to month).
I'd imagine you are on the SIm only plan where they had the offer a few months back? (because now the offer is a 12 months contract and you 'only' get 11GB).
If you move to 60/mth now, you will be receiving 11Gb (month to month) or you could move to the 12 months one and get 18GB. But wait, you will only have to pay 55 per month, because there's an offer at the moment. You get 10% off the monthly plan (on plans >=50/mth). This is only if you signed up in the 12 months though.

the mth-by-mth arrangement is preferred, but I thought as much regards having to signup for the 12 month plan.
So, regretably, I'll change to a 12 mth plan.
But, I saw the $60 12mth plan provided much more data than what you're showing there in your reply?
As for my SIM only plan, no. I went to your Eastland Ringwood Vic store and got a new modem (MF920A) and had a new SIM posted a week or so before, which is in the modem, and they work fine, on my old dongal's mobile number.
That came about after much accidental trouble changing from the very old (MS windows) dongal account to the 4G modem account on my new iOS MacBook, etc. (Check with ZOE, and your records on all that. It was a horror show for all of us. But Brian, the chatline supervisoer came through and fixed it all.
My only prob now, is, I'm spending more time so more data watching TELE!
So, I have a new Virgin SIM and new 4G modem. The modem paid for - $119.00 - or so, at the store.
If you can decipher that, and deduce which I am "on" and which new upgrade plan will suit me best, good fortune!
I have a screenshot of the 40Gb on the $60 BYO plan, dated 17/04/17. It's offer ends 17 May 2017, fyi.

I need to upgrade my plan. I posted a topic on it last week, had one reply from "mbki" or such, who it seems was trolling me, as they did not come back after I answered their reply. A reply which was incoherent, foolish and not factual.
I need to upgrade before this month's data recharge due-by date passes, which is about the 3rd of May, so would like if someone could respond before then, pls?
I see a plan on one of the B-band pages offering 40Gb for $60/mth, on offer until 17th May. It requires (I think) my going onto a 12 month plan, which I'll do, if necessary, if a Virgin rep can't point me to some "mth-by-mth" plan with the same or similar value.
