Hardly a "techie' issue, but...,
I have a new Virgin Mobile 4G wireless modem model MF920A.
Just, logging into the online window, with the yellow (SMS) and blue (Advanced Settings) buttons lower left, there's no graphics as are shown in the pamphlet, like an auto's dashboard with three round gauges, or texts, like "View your connected devices", "Network and Connection Settings", "Data usage summary", and "Wi-Fi Security, SSID, Range and Password Settings" on the page, as are shown on the pamphlett that comes with the modem.
Only the two green icons, one an "ON" switch, the other a "tick" in green circle, and the "Status Information" details and extra info link bottom right.
All the info across the top of the page is there.
How to fix this, pls?
Did as you ask, typed http://192.168.0.1 but nope.
Same basically blank screen with the buttons as before...., with the menu across top.
The "mobile" link button in the middle, about 20mm below the "4G & Virgin Mobile" Network Type & Operator signs,, is faint too, almost indistinct, but works.
Moving the cursor over the sections missing the graphics has the cursor "arrow" turn into the "hand" (as mine is set up), and clicking works "CONNECTED DEVICES", "connection settings", "WIFI SETTINGS". But it's all a big white-out on the screen.
These are minor details as they mean nothing to me, ha ha. But maybe it's something worth sorting out?
ONCE MORE, MAYBE?
Probably the only window I need, is "DATA USAGE", but there's no link I can find on either the new Modem's 4G pages, or the index I found somewhere and bookmarked.
Do I assume the DATE USAGE details in my old Virgin account pages covers usage with this unit?
Next Q:? I take it this new modem's number is +61420458522(1).
Asking, why the "(1)" at the end?
I trust the Virgin Ringwood seller (Stan) done good by linking this with my old Virgin account which I access as usual. But there's no indication this new modem is now part of that account. Or that I pay for it's data when the time comes...
Accepting most of these sticking points are my being out of touch on how stuff works now......
Thanks for your patience, Zoe, and Virgin generally!
yep a bit faint, but it is there.
ZTE UI designers could do little better.
if so the statistical usage would be handy to have on this modem, as previous models of the modems had, instead of logging into your usage account to check it.
