I have just purchased a Samsung 8. I have set up voicemail with greeting etc. It just ring's out. So I have followed all the prompts:
Switching on Voicemail
1. Dial 212 into your Virgin Mobile phone and press ‘Call’ or ‘Send’
2. Press 1 to Activate VM.
3. Listen to the Welcome Message and hang up when it’s done.
4. Within the hour you should receive the following TEXT message: "Congrats! Your VMAIL Box has been activated! Free call 212 from your Virgin Mobile to record a Personal Greeting... Enjoy!"
5. Dial 212 again to record your Personal Greeting.
When I ring 212 it doesn't even give me the option to Press 1 to activate!!!!!

Set Up Voicemail Diversions
You can choose what kind of incoming calls you want to be diverted to VMail, simply by dialling the correct code from your handset and hitting 'Send' or 'Call':
