I had the same issue, I got my confirmation text message with my order number and after 4 days when the tracking number kept saying that the item wasn't available for tracking I called Virgin to be told I have to wait 8 week.
I was not given any noticifation that it would be delayed in delivery now I have to wait until after christmas, it is a joke. If i had known that Virgin wouldn't honour their commitment to customer service I would have ordered it from Apple.
It is the iPhone X 256G, I shouldn't have to check your website for Delivery times when you sent me a text message to say I will recieve it 1-4 business days from 3/11/2017.
So far I have been the one chasing information when Virgin should be supplying it if they aren't going to meet their obligations.
