If you received an SMS regarding the Voicemail Upgrade, and are no longer a Virgin Mobile customer, please disregard it. Your service will not be affected.
From Thursday 16 August 2018, we will begin upgrading our customers voicemail. This will be done for you automatically, in the early hours, so you won't need to lift a finger. Better yet, your voicemail service won't be affected while the upgrade is taking place, so you'll still receive that Vmail from your mum wishing you a good night!
Functions such as retrieving, deleting and saving Vmails will still be available, however the keypad prompts to get to these options will change. Check out the FAQs below for more info.
Vmails you've kept can still be accessed up to 28 days after the upgrade is completed. After which, they'll be removed permanently. To access your previously saved Vmails, in the voicemail menu, press 4.
Will the number to access voicemail change?
No, you'll still be able to call 212 from your Virgin Mobile service or 0411 000 212 from a non-Virgin Mobile service to access your voicemail.
What will happen to my voicemail greetings?
Your voicemail greetings will stay the same as they are now. However, if you're like most of us and you haven’t changed your greeting in 10 years, now would be the perfect time to try something new!
Will I have to reset my voicemail code?
No, your voicemail code will stay the same.
