Customers who made a payment to Virgin Mobile on 29/09/2017 using a credit card may see that their Bank Statement or Transaction History states that their payment was made to "YES OPTUS EATON FAIR AU".
This was due to a clerical error made by our credit card merchant provider & all payments made by these customers to Virgin Mobile have been received by Virgin Mobile.
How did this happen?
This was due to a clerical error with our credit card merchant provider. We have since been notified by them that there was an error in their system which renamed us from “VIRGIN MOBILE H/O MACQUARIE PARK” to “YES OPTUS EATON FAIR AU”.
Will this continue to appear on my bank statement or transaction history?
No, this issue has since been rectified by our credit card merchant provider and will not occur again.
